The PDC has announced a record-breaking extension of its long-standing partnership with Winmau. Part of the new agreement is the introduction of the Blade X as the official dartboard for all TV tournaments.

The largest equipment deal in the history of darts was revealed during the draw for the Winmau World Masters, which will be played from January 29 through February 1 at Arena MK in Milton Keynes. There, the Blade X will make its debut on the PDC stage.
The renewed collaboration means that Winmau dartboards will be used exclusively at all PDC tournaments worldwide. In 2026, the PDC circuit will stage events in no fewer than seventeen countries.
The Blade X has been developed with modern professional darts in mind and is designed to deliver more consistent scoring, fewer bounce-outs, and an exceptional lifespan. The board is built to the highest technical standards and is the first dartboard ever to be launched with a five-year warranty.
In addition, Winmau remains title sponsor of the PDC Challenge Tour, Development Tour, and the World Youth Championship. This underscores both parties’ shared commitment to talent development and strengthening the pathway within the sport.
PDC Chief Executive Matthew Porter calls it a logical and ambitious step: “Winmau have been a fantastic partner of the PDC over the last four years, and this record-breaking extension reflects our shared ambition for the future of the sport. "Their commitment to innovation, quality and performance is unmatched, and the launch of the Blade X sets a new benchmark for darts equipment at the very highest level."
Tom Brown, CEO of the Nodor Group and Winmau, is equally enthusiastic: “We’re incredibly proud to extend our partnership with the PDC and to see the Blade X introduced on the sport’s biggest stages. This agreement reflects our shared commitment to performance, innovation and the continued growth of darts worldwide.”
