PDC Women's Series Event 19 & 20 Draw and Round-Up | Beau Greaves announces return with immediate title win

The PDC Women's Series continues on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester in what is a pivotal weekend for PDC World Darts Championship hopes as the top names continue to battle over the final few weekends.

Three PDC World Darts Championship spots are available through the Women's Series Order of Merit, while the overall winner will also secure a place at the Grand Slam of Darts. With the season moving towards its conclusion, every result could prove significant for the leading contenders.

Beau Greaves is among the players competing in Event 19, with the Women's World Matchplay champion drawn against Jane Hawtin in the last 128.

Fallon Sherrock, Lisa Ashton, Deta Hedman and Gemma Hayter are also involved as the race for Alexandra Palace qualification continues.

Sherrock begins her campaign against Tracey Reeve, while Ashton faces a particularly intriguing opening assignment against Lindsey Ashton.

Hedman meets Amy Chappell in the last 128, with Hayter drawn against Finland's Kirsi Viinikainen. Sweden's Vicky Pruim starts in the last 64, where she will take on Laura Turner.

Event 20 will follow later on Sunday, completing the latest Women's Series double-header in Leicester.

Beau Greaves claimed her 12th Women's Series title of the season on Sunday afternoon. The Englishwoman missed Saturday's two Women's Series tournaments but returned to action on Sunday.

Her comeback proved successful as she collected the £2,500 winner's prize. Greaves opened with consecutive 4-0 victories over Jane Hawtin and Sue Lowther before edging past Vicky Pruim 4-3.

Gemma Hayter also pushed her all the way, but Greaves prevailed 4-3 before beating Aileen de Graaf 5-1 and Kirsty Hutchinson 5-2 to reach the final. Greaves then defeated Ashton 5-3 to secure the title.
