This weekend the PDC Women's Series 2025 resumes, where Beau Greaves hopes to continue her impressive start to the season. The second weekend of play in the Women's Series takes place March 8 and 9 at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester, with Events 5-8 on the schedule. 10,000 pounds of prize money will be distributed per tournament, of which 2,000 pounds will go to the winner.
Greaves already managed to win two Women's Series titles last month and will be looking to further extend her lead over the other players in Leicester. The 21-year-old Englishwoman is one of the standouts of 2025. Besides her successes in the Women's Series, she also won multiple titles on the Challenge Tour and the Development Tour, which puts her in the lead in both Order of Merits.
After making her debut on the PDC ProTour last month, Greaves made history at the UK Open last weekend. She became the first woman ever to win three consecutive matches at this tournament.
The three-time women's world champion defeated Stefan Bellmont, Rhys Griffin and Mickey Mansell to reach the fourth round. She also impressed at the last 64, taking a 7-5 lead against former world champion Luke Humphries. After that, however, the tank was empty and she had to acknowledge her superiority to the PDC world number one by 10-7.
Four-time Lakeside champion Lisa Ashton and former Women's World Matchplay winner Fallon Sherrock will also appear at the oche in Leicester this weekend. Both won titles in the opening weekend of the Women's Series last month. Ashton is currently second on the Women's Series Order of Merit, while Sherrock follows in third place, just £300 behind Ashton.
Gemma Hayter experienced a breakthrough season in 2024, reaching two finals last month. The 31-year-old is also among one of the big contenders at the next tournament weekend. Dutch Noa-Lynn van Leuven, who won four Women's Series titles last year, is also in the mix. She will be joined by the likes of Robyn Byrne, Rhian O'Sullivan, Lorraine Winstanley and 16-year-old Paige Pauling.
Events 5 and 6 will be played on Saturday, March 8, followed by Events 7 and 8 on Sunday, March 9. The games can be followed on PDCTV starting at 11:00 a.m. on both days.
