As the PDC World Championship fast approaches, we take a look at three more seeded players set to take to the Alexandra Palace stage.

Last time, we had Darren Webster, Jermaine Wattimena and Mervyn King. This time it is the turn of Joe Cullen, Stephen Bunting and Jonny Clayton. All odds are provided by World Championship sponsors William Hill, and are correct at time at publication.

Joe Cullen

Seed: 15

Age: 30

Nationality: English

Previous World Championship appearances: 9

Best PDC major performance: Quarter-Final – World Matchplay 2019, UK Open 2016, Masters 2019

Walk-on: Don't Look Back In Anger by Oasis

Odds to win: 150/1

Cullen comes into this year's PDC World Championship as a new player in some ways due to his run at the European Matchplay which saw the Bradford ace produce a stunning display.

Since then, his form hasn't been the best with a lot of Last 32's and Last 16's in ProTours and TV tournaments, the best that 'The Rockstar' has done.

He will hope to put that right when he once again plays at the Alexandra Palace and his first test will either be James Wilson or Nico Kurz.

Jonny Clayton

Seed: 16

Age: 45

Nationality: Welsh

Previous World Championship appearances: 3

Best PDC major performance: Quarter-Final - Grand Slam of Darts 2018

Walk-on: Johnny B. Goode by Chuck Berry

Odds to win: 150/1

Clayton has once again had a steady year in the run up to the World Championship including another ProTour title early on.

Good runs in European Tours also all year as well as recently a World Series of Darts Finals Quarter-Final have thrown the Welshman potentially into the reckoning.

He is in a bad quarter of the draw though and will have to likely meet Michael van Gerwen sooner rather than later if he defeats either Ryan Joyce or Jan Dekker. 'The Ferret' though is known as a danger player to Mighty Mike so he could use this year's World Championship to go on a real run.

Stephen Bunting

Seed: 17

Age: 34

Nationality: English

Previous World Championship appearances: 5

Best PDC major performance: Semi-Final - World Grand Prix 2014, UK Open 2015

Walk-on: Surfin' Bird by The Trashmen

Odds to win: 125/1

Bunting after being in the darting doldrums for a lot of the last two years has returned to the foray again and has been putting in some exceptional performances and could be a dark horse.

'The Bullet' has reached Quarter-Finals in the Players Championship Finals and World Matchplay in particular in the past few months and many would say goes into the Palace in his best form in years.

The St Helens ace has Arron Monk or Jose Justicia in his first tie which could be a tough game but based on current form, Bunting could be in for a good run and will likely sail through.
