The PDPA Qualifiers for the
PDC World Darts Championship have concluded with the likes of
Jamie Lewis and
Matthew Edgar booking their spots at Alexandra Palace.
Lewis has had a torrid year on the ProTour and took a break from darts at one point but he will look to replicate his 2018 run after seeing off Robert Thornton.
Thornton will now be resigned to his fate of potentially losing his Tour Card and having to go to Q-School in January.
Edgar would have been in trouble had he not won today but the star of 'Edgar TV' will avert this after easing past Josh Payne following wins over Gary Blades and Martin Atkins.
While
Nick Kenny will make his PDC World Championship debut after edging past James Wilson in a 7-6 win. It was also close between Joe Murnan and
Ciaran Teehan but it was the young Irishman who edged through 7-6.

Zonneveld and Sedlacek take Rest of the World spots
Also taking place at the same time in Coventry was the Rest of the World Qualifier with two spots available from two quarters.
Coming through was
Niels Zonneveld and Karel Sedlacek respectively.
Zonneveld played well this past weekend at the Players Championship Finals and was unlucky not to qualify through the ProTour mainly due to Coronavirus.
But he defeated Krzysztof Kciuk, Jelle Klaasen and finally Martin Schindler to book his spot.
Karel Sedlacek has also shown flashes of brilliance and has unveiled some of the best dart shirts as of late and he will play at the Alexandra Palace once more after defeating Jan Dekker with ease in the final.
