The last Quarter-Final of the weekend has been confirmed with
Devon Petersen set to face
Krzysztof Ratajski in what should be a quality tie given their Last 16 victories.
Petersen who has established himself as not only one of the Most Improved players on the PDC Tour this year but also one of the most in-form continues to win through in last leg deciders.
This time he saw off Rob Cross who has played himself back into form as of late with a 100.5 average and six 180's and will now be involved in the evening session later on. Will it be a first European Tour and PDC ranking title for 'The African Warrior' after he went so close to the latter at the PDC Autumn Series?
One player who knows how to win on the European Tour is Ratajski and he showed that against Joe Cullen. 'The Polish Eagle' soared to a 6-2 win with a 107 average with four 180's and 75% on his doubles.
One of the most consistent players in the PDC as a whole and with the field now without the likes of Van Gerwen, Wright and Price, Ratajski will be one of the favourites to lift the title later on and based off his win against Cullen alone, there is a reason for it.
