The opening round continues at the 2022 European Darts Open with Devon Petersen, Daryl Gurney, Maik Kuivenhoven and Berry Van Peer winning through to the second round in Leverkusen.
Petersen began the evening by seeing off Kevin Doets 6-5 pinning double eight to seal it in the decider.
While Kuivenhoven survived four missed match darts from Stephen Bunting in the deciding leg before falling over the line against the in-form Bullet.

It was another closely run won for Gurney with a third decider of the evening which was sealed by Superchin who will face Michael Van Gerwen tomorrow. He fired in four 180’s en route to victory.
While it was a struggle for Berry Van Peer who saw off Jermaine Wattimena in a Double Dutch tie with 6/26 hit on doubles compared to 4/25 evidencing the closely fought nature of the tie.
