Players Championship 27 Results, Last 32: Ratajski and Cross set to face off in Last 16 after brilliant displays

The Last 16 lineup has been confirmed at Players Championship 27 with the big tie seeing Krzysztof Ratajski and Rob Cross face off.
This comes after two impressive displays from the duo in moving through. 'Voltage' smashed past James Richardson in a 6-3 win which saw him average 108.6.
Ratajski on the other hand averaged 105.8 in seeing off Ronny Huybrechts who pulled his weight in the tie averaging 104.4. There was also brilliance from Ted Evetts averaging 102 in dumping out Peter Wright 6-3.
Mensur Suljovic is also through after coming through a tough test against Callan Rydz in a thrilling tie. Rydz went ahead but couldn't close it out giving Suljovic the momentum to claim the victory in a deciding leg.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
