Players Championship 27 Results, Last 16: Price, Ratajski and Suljovic among Quarter-Finalists in Dublin

The Quarter-Final line-up has been confirmed at Players Championship 27 with the likes of Gerwyn Price, Krzysztof Ratajski and Mensur Suljovic through.
Price averaging 104.8 with victory over Jermaine Wattimena in what was a 6-4 victory for 'The Iceman'.
Suljovic also impressed average wise with a 103.3 average with a 6-5 win over Vincent van der Voort.

Ratajski produced the goods against Rob Cross mounting a comeback twice to edge past the World Matchplay champion in what could be a pre-cursor to the World Grand Prix next week.
The likes of Scott Taylor, Robert Owen and Cristo Reyes are also having impressive runs today with Owen in particular having his best in a while. Taylor has also been taking his chance when he is able to step up to the ProTour.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
