Raymond van Barneveld has moved up to third place on the Players Championship Order of Merit. After the fourteenth Players Championship tournament of the season, 'Barney' is only ahead of Ryan Searle and Gary Anderson.
Van Barneveld passed Chris Dobey, who now joins Ross Smith in fourth place. Daryl Gurney and Danny Noppert share the sixth spot together. Jonny Clayton moved up to eighth place on the Players Championship Order of Merit after 'The Ferret' won the fourteenth Players Championship tournament of the season on Wednesday. Damon Heta has as much prize money as Clayton and is thus also in a shared eighth spot. The top-10 is completed by Michael Smith.
After all the Players Championship tournaments, the top 64 ranked players will compete in the Players Championship Finals. This tournament from Nov. 22 to 24 will be played in Minehead.
