Stephen Bunting is enjoying a successful 2024. Earlier this year, "The Bullet" won the Masters, the first PDC major of his career, and he has since climbed to 16th in the world rankings.
Bunting won the Masters early February by beating Michael van Gerwen 11-7 in the final. But beyond the stage, the 39-year-old Englishman is clearly not sitting still either. Bunting announced via X (the former Twitter) that he and his wife Keila are expecting a second child. 'ITS A BOY. Baby bullet due early November 2024. Me, Keila and Tobias are over the moon. Looking forward to welcoming our baby boy into this world.'
Shortly after Bunting's joyous announcement, a fan connected the dots and realized that the baby's due date is early November - exactly nine months after the darter's Masters triumph in February. Accompanied by a smiling emoji, the fan posted on X: 'Due exactly 9 months after he won the Masters. That's why he's the [goat emoji]'

Incidentally, there were other X users who made the connection between his Masters triumph and his baby's due date. One added: 'So more trophies = More Bunting babies. Not sure his house is gonna be able to fit all these children.' Another playfully asked, "The celebrations went well then?
Bunting will be in action starting late next week at the World Matchplay, where he will look for his second major triumph of this year.
