Poland Darts Masters 2024 draw confirmed as Michael van Gerwen and Luke Littler return to World Series

Michael van Gerwen will face Karel Sedlacek in the first round of the Poland Darts Masters 2024, the draw for the World Series tournament in Poland revealed Thursday.
The Poland Darts Masters will take place on Friday, June 14, and Saturday, June 15, in the Polish city of Gliwice at the ProZero Arena. In the first round on Friday, eight PDC stars will take on eight Eastern European representatives for a place in the quarterfinals.
Van Gerwen, as a three-time world champion, is one of the top attractions at the World Series tournament in Poland. With Sedlacek, he will meet one of five Eastern European players who hold a PDC Tour Card.

Peter Wright will face off with Jacek Krupka, one of three players who qualified for the event via a qualifier. Gyorgy Jehirszki also qualified through such a qualifier for the Poland Darts Masters. The Hungarian may face reigning world champion Luke Humphries.
Former world champion Michael Smith will battle Radek Szaganski. Sebastian Bialecki gets to take on Rob Cross in front of his own crowd, while Nathan Aspinall was paired with Boris Krcmar. The best Polish dart player at the moment is Krzysztof Ratajski. 'The Polish Eagle,' who has won 10 PDC ranking titles in his career, gets to show off to the Polish fans against Masters winner Stephen Bunting.
The first edition of the Poland Darts Masters in 2023 was convincingly won by Michael van Gerwen. At the time, 'Mighty Mike' played one of his best tournaments ever. After winning 6-3 over Adam Gawlas in the first round, he recorded an average of 110.79 per turn in his quarterfinal win against Luke Humphries (6-2).
In the semifinals, Van Gerwen recorded a 7-3 victory over Michael Smith with a moyenne of 104.02. In the final, Dimitri van den Bergh lost 8-3. Van Gerwen threw an average of 113.22 in this final.
