Portela and Robb seal PDC World Darts Championship spots

Diogo Portela and Ben Robb have sealed spots in the 2022/23 PDC World Darts Championship.

Portela won the Central & South America Qualifier in Costa Rica on Sunday evening, although the Brazilian needed a play-off against Jesus Ruben Salate in a qualifier he usually has no trouble sealing.

While on Monday, Robb won through the DPNZ Qualifier to return to Ally Pally once again defeating former World Cup quarter-finalist and recent World Series star, Haupai Puha 8-4 in Monday's final with a 96 average.

He swept aside Stu Irwin and John Hurring 5-0 in the group before seeing off Landon Gardiner 5-1.

Following that, he lost just four legs in the second round-robin before defeating Hurring 7-4 in the semi-finals prior to seeing off Puha.
