Vladyslav Omelchenko to become first Ukrainian at PDC World Darts Championship after winning two-day qualifier in Kyiv

Vladyslav Omelchenko will become the first Ukrainian player to compete in the PDC World Darts Championship after sealing victory in a two-day qualifier in Kyiv.

Introducing a Ukrainian qualifier after the EADC circuit was suspended due to the ongoing issues in Russia and Ukraine, it was Omelchenko who emerged victorious.

After winning through one of Saturday's initial qualifying events, he saw off Artem Usyk, Yaroslav Mykytyn and Volodymyr Zalevskyi in a straight sets win in the final averaging 76.
