Price ‘absolutely gutted’ as Grand Slam reign comes to an end

Gerwyn Price bowed out of the Grand Slam of Darts on Saturday night with defeat to Nathan Aspinall.

Price attempted to mount a comeback but it was a too high mountain to climb and Aspinall came away the victor.

‘The Iceman’ took to Twitter afterwards and admitted he was gutted but offered congratulations to the Stockport ace.

“Oh well not meant to be, yes I am absolutely gutted but well done to Nathan all the best for the rest of the tournament home now to see my girls. Thanks for the support the last couple of days.”
