Price after edging past Humphries: “For whatever reason, I was struggling”

Gerwyn Price is successfully through to the Quarter-Finals at the Players Championship Finals after edging past Luke Humphries 10-6.

But afterwards, Price admitted it was a struggle for him and like previously, he reiterated that the last few months have taken their toll on him.

“I am here to win and will always do my best, I will never throw in the towel but for whatever reason I was struggling tonight," Price revealed.

“It has been a very long few months and it is starting to catch up with me, but if I can take another trophy in to the two-week break before the Worlds I will be very happy.”
