Gerwyn Price will embark on another Premier League season starting tonight in Aberdeen with ‘The Iceman’ in a completely different picture to last year.
Price currently sits in third in the PDC Order of Merit and spoke about how his mindset differs now to when he began his Premier League journey.
"I missed out on the playoff places last year by one point through my own fault through bombing a lot of opportunities I should have won but I'm feeling good and I'm looking forward to this campaign," said Price to
LiveDarts.
"First year was something I didn't enjoy. I didn't enjoy the travelling, obviously losing games and going to ProTours and not wanting to be there. I promised myself I'd never play in this tournament again but here we are third time lucky."
Price also set his ambitions high and said that he wants to show everyone why he is so far up in the world rankings.
"I think I can get to the finals and I'm number three in the world for a reason. I just need to believe in myself a bit more which I have in the last couple of months."
