Price and Bunting set new PDC World Championship ton plus checkout record during semi-final clash

Gerwyn Price and Stephen Bunting produced a thriller in their semi-final clash at the 2021 PDC World Darts Championship.

Price and Bunting not only played brilliantly but also set a new record in the process for the most ton plus checkouts in a World Championship match.

Hitting 13 in all, it eclipsed the previous record set by Phil Taylor and Kevin Painter during the 2004 final.

‘The Iceman’ hit eight with five from ‘The Bullet’, an incredible feat albeit with less legs compared to the previous record.
