Mardle looks ahead to Anderson v Price World Championship Final: "They play the game in different ways, that's what's going to be fascinating"

Gerwyn Price will face Gary Anderson in the final of the 2021 PDC World Darts Championship on Sunday evening and Wayne Mardle took a look at the tie on Sky Sports coverage last night.

Mardle said that the way they play is the fascinating part and that there are multiple different facets to the game including Price going for the World Number One spot.

"I still can't get my head around Gary Anderson being the 13th seed and John (Part) and I mentioned it in commentary that it's only that because he doesn't do all the events like the others and he has proved it again that the ranking is wrong for him," said Mardle on Sky Sports.

"It's two of the best players in the world and one of them is going for the Number One spot, the other one is trying to win a third World title. They've got history, that Grand Slam final which was a few years ago now, they've kind of not buried the hatchet but they play the game in different ways and that's what's going to be fascinating."

"There's going to be the fist bumps, there's going to be noise, there's going to be shouting. There's going to be everything and then there's going to be Gary Anderson."
