Price, Humphries and Wright through openers, Cross, Clayton and Cullen out at first hurdle as Players Championship 19 begins

The first round is well underway at Players Championship 19 with Gerwyn Price, Luke Humphries and Peter Wright among those through their openers in Barnsley.
Humphries breezed past ProTour winner, Danny Jansen 6-1, while Wright averaged 105 in edging past Nathan Rafferty 6-5.
Price who seems to be rocking new spectacles this weekend failed to get through his opener yesterday but averaged 101 in seeing off Darren Webster today.
But for Rob Cross, Jonny Clayton and Joe Cullen - it is an early exit with 'The Ferret' falling to Niels Zonneveld. Cross lost 6-2 to Max Hopp, while for Cullen, it was Brian Raman who accounted for Clayton yesterday.
