Dirk van Duijvenbode is still the leader on the Players Championship Order of Merit after the trio of tournaments in recent days, but his wide lead has shrunk considerably.
Gerwyn Price is now breathing down the neck of Van Duijvenbode and is within a thousand pounds after the Welshman won Players Championship 21 on Tuesday. It was Price's third ranking title within a span of ten days, meaning 'The Iceman' has almost completely made up his large gap to Van Duijvenbode.
Luke Humphries is the new number three on the list. Humphries also managed to win one of the tournaments in Barnsley. Damon Heta and Josh Rock complete the top five. Incidentally, there is only £500 difference between Humphries and Rock, so these names may still move around quite a bit during the upcoming tournaments.
After a poor weekend that saw him win just one match in the three tournaments, Michael van Gerwen now languishes in 34th with his great rival Peter Wright even worse off in 91st.
After all the Players Championship tournaments, the top 64 ranked players will compete in the Players Championship Finals. This tournament from 24 to 26 November played in Minehead.
