World Number One and World Champion,
Gerwyn Price is the latest player to decide against playing in the
Super Series which is set to begin in Niedernhausen, Germany on Saturday.
It has been duly noted that players will have to go through a mandatory 10 day quarantine on return to the UK which has led to a lot of players seemingly deciding against travelling.
This includes those in the Premier League with Jonny Clayton, Peter Wright, Gary Anderson and Glen Durrant all deciding against it with the second half of the tournament set to start during the first week of May.
"I have been debating since last week about going to the Super Series 3 in Germany but decided this morning don’t want to risk it hope to be back on the big stage soon," wrote Price on Twitter.
He also gave an update on his status relating his positive Covid test saying he had no symptoms at all throughout his isolation.
"To add I am absolutely fine and have had no symptoms at all," he added.
