Gerwyn Price will make his return to the
Premier League Darts in front of a home crowd in Cardiff on Thursday evening and he can't wait to play in Wales once more.
"I'm buzzing. Cardiff first one to kick it off, not a better place really for a Welshman but yeah it's nice to be back in the Premier League having missed out last year due to the COVID situation," said Price to Live Darts.
He spoke on missing out on last year's tournament and how he couldn't bring himself to watch any of the games.
"It wasn't tough. I didn't watch many games, I couldn't pull myself to. Obviously I was gutted I couldn't take part but like I said I'm back in this year, hopefully have a good run, I haven't reached the top four since I've played in this competition. It's one of my main goals for this season."
But he is wanting to make up for lost time and is looking forward to being celebrated on home soil.
"Not just because I'm Welsh but I think Cardiff is probably one of the best venues for atmosphere and for me and Jonny, it's going to be buzzing."
