Price powers past Aspinall to reach back-to-back European Tour finals, set to face Suljovic

Gerwyn Price will face off against Mensur Suljovic in the final of the 2021 Gibraltar Darts Trophy shortly with a potential for 'The Iceman' to end the European Tour season with both titles.

Price won a few weeks ago at the Hungarian Darts Trophy and after defeating Michael van Gerwen earlier has powered past Nathan Aspinall.

A 7-3 triumph for Price with a 100.8 average and 46% on the doubles saw the World Number One book his place.

He will now face off against Suljovic who could continue his return to action with a first title in two years. A three time winner on the European Tour, he could make it four after recently returning from an absence since April.

He has been putting in some excellent displays this weekend and previously at the World Cup of Darts and in his semi-final, he produced a 96.7 average to see off Simon Whitlock 7-5.

Thus ending the hopes of Whitlock reaching the World Grand Prix which seals the field for next weekend in Leicester.
