Gerwyn Price has added the Gibraltar Darts Trophy to his collection and claimed a clean sweep on the truncated European Tour this year with a devastating whitewash win over Mensur Suljovic.
Price is now up to five European Tour titles and 22 overall in the PDC and adds to his Hungarian Darts Trophy win a few weeks ago.
In the final, it was a 105 average with three 180's and 61% on the doubles as the World Number One blitzed through the Austrian with ease.
To begin the tie, A 180 left 81 for Price as he looked for the best possible start in a break but despite gifting Suljovic a chance to hold, he didn't need a second chance to break pinning double four.
Price pinned a timely 131 set up to leave 52 but he couldn't hit it and with Suljovic pressuring to leave 40, he returned for it.
But double trouble saw Suljovic hand Price an opportunity to hold which he took and he claimed a double break with a 70 checkout to make it 3-0.
He set up 40 from 124 to hold throw and go further towards the finishing line at 4-0 up.
Suljovic left a bogey number and Price set up double 20 from 164 with a brilliant set up shot for another break at 5-0 up.
A 94 checkout saw Price go 6-0 up and two away from a whitewash win and a 95 checkout saw him break once more to make it 7-0.
He kicked off 140 and 180 on his throw and claimed it with an 11 darter in the form of an 82 checkout.
