The line-up for the 2020 PDC World Championship semi-finals are now confirmed with Gerwyn Price now set to face Peter Wright after easing past Glen Durrant in a 5-1 win.

Price hit a 99 average alongside eight 180s and 47 percent on the doubles. This came despite him not hitting any ton plus checkouts; with that left to Durrant with 146, 136, 126 and 105 hit by 'Duzza'; but despite that it was 'The Iceman' who left it to script to end up the victor.
Price claimed first blood in the first set; as he claimed the opening set in a deciding leg with 3/4 on the doubles and this came despite a 126 and a 105 checkout from Durrant; who showed his clutch credentials in the early going despite not taking the set.
Despite that, the signs were ominous as Price went into a 2-0 lead; as he claimed the next set 3-1 to double his lead, despite once again Durrant producing a 146 checkout in his solitary leg.
He added a 136 checkout to his rostrum of high checkouts; as he began the next set well and added a break of throw to that to go 2-1 up. The third set went fully the way of Durrant; as he halved the deficit but despite that an early break of throw and an 11-darter to seal it saw Price go two sets away from the finishing line.
Durrant's dreams seemed to be fading; as Price went one set away from the finishing line claiming the fifth set 3-1. This included to finish it off Price having to readjust; as it seemed his flights weren't in place properly to hit the double 18 which prompted him to have his usual shout of emotion.
Durrant led the next set; but Price went 2-1 up with double 20 to break throw and go one away from victory.
