Gerwyn Price saw off Nathan Aspinall to become the latest player to reach the Quarter-Finals at the European Championship in Gottingen.
Price recovered from 5-0 down to defeat Aspinall 10-6 in a thriller with a 103.8 average and seven 180's to defeat the UK Open champion.
Aspinall was excellent to start the tie with one way traffic at the first interval as he went 5-0 up with a 110 average and 5/6 on the doubles.
Price though finally got off the mark following up a 96 checkout with a break of throw to peg him back 2-5. Two maximums saw him finish off three legs on the spin to trail 5-3.
By the interval he had taken five legs without reply to level it up at 5-5 with a 10 average and six 180's. Aspinall though regained the upperhand sinking tops for a 13 darter to go 6-5 ahead.
Price though levelled it up and went 7-6 up and consolidated the break of throw with a hold to go two clear at 8-6.
'The Iceman' then put the icing on the cake with an amazing 132 checkout on the bull to make it 9-6 and from there he completed the remarkable victory to move through.
