Price seals second night win of 2023 Premier League Darts campaign, sees off resurgent Dobey in Nottingham final

Gerwyn Price has sealed a second nightly win of this year's Premier League Darts seeing off Chris Dobey 6-4 who revived his campaign this evening in Nottingham with victory over Michael Smith and a thrashing of Michael van Gerwen.

But it was Price who adds to his tally on Night Seven and joins only Van Gerwen on sealing multiple night wins this season with a 101 average, four 180's and a high checkout of 138 in seeing off 'Hollywood'.

Dobey lead early on doubling his lead with a 112 checkout after an 86 start but as ever a slow start ceased for Price who came back to halve the deficit.

He then squared it up at 2-2 with a 110 checkout and added the aforementioned 138 checkout to lead. Dobey got back on track with a break but that was soon taken away as Price broke back and sailed to go one away.

But missed five match darts allowing Dobey potentially another opportunity at 5-4. In the end though, a 49 checkout sealed the deal for 'The Iceman'.
