Over the next few weeks, the eight participants in the 2023 Premier League Darts will be splitting a hefty prize fund. A total of one million pounds in prize money will be distributed among the participants.
The eight participants will receive a minimum of £60,000 for their appearances in Premier League Darts. The four players who manage to reach the play-offs will see their earnings rise to £85,000 in prize money. The losing finalist will receive £125,000, while the winner of the 2022 Premier League Darts will go home with £275,000.
Continuation of new format
The eight participants will play 16 tournaments. It will be arranged so that a player meets the other participants twice in a quarterfinal. During two weeks of play, in the eighth and sixteenth week of play, the draw will be based on the points standings.
With results during the sixteen tournaments, points can be scored. A semi-final earns two points, a second place three points and a tournament win five points and a £10,000 bonus.
Based on these points, the new Premier League Darts rankings are formed. The top four players advance to the Premier League Darts play-offs.
