Price took the tie in an 8-3 rout with a 100 average to cap off another great weekend.
This included a high checkout of 126 with 53 percent on the doubles en route as ‘The Iceman’ takes his second European Tour title and his second of the year after claiming a Players Championship.
It also denies Smith his first European Tour since Gibraltar in 2017 but despite that he will have his head held high as he adds important money to his Order of Merit.
