Price wins in strong field at Armageddon exhibition tournament

Gerwyn Price won the yearly Armageddon tournament ran by MDA Promotions in a strong field on Friday evening.

Previously won by the likes of Michael van Gerwen and Daryl Gurney, among others. The latter participated but lost to Nathan Aspinall in the last four.

Price was too strong for compatriot Jonny Clayton in the semi-final, who had eliminated Fallon Sherrock in the last eight.

The final was therefore between Price and Aspinall. After an exciting game, it was The Iceman who came out on top 3-2.

Quarter final

Nathan Aspinall 4-1 Andy Hibbert

Daryl Gurney 4-0 Jim Walker

Jonny Clayton 4-3 Fallon Sherrock

Gerwyn Price 4-1 Alex Long

Semi finals

Nathan Aspinall 4-2 Daryl Gurney

Gerwyn Price 4-3 Jonny Clayton

Final
