Gerwyn Price will not be involved this weekend at the German Darts Grand Prix after withdrawing before his scheduled clash with Keane Barry which was due to take place this evening.
Barry's manufacturer, Target Darts revealed the news on their social media after Rob Cross, another Team Target star won through that 'Dynamite' has already sealed his spot in the Last 16.
This is due to suspected tonsillitis and makes it two European Tour tournaments in a row he has withdrawn with the German Darts Championship seeing 'The Iceman' withdraw due to his elbow injury.

#Voltage is through to the final day in Munich. And our young Irish talent Keane Barry will join him there, as his opponent tonight Gerwyn Price has withdrawn due to suspected tonsillitis. #TeamTarget #GDGP22
