On January 18 and 19, the
Bahrain Darts Masters 2024 is scheduled to take place in the gulf state of Bahrain. The first World Series tournament of the season will see 60,000 pounds of
prize money distributed.
The first round of the Bahrain Darts Masters features eight Asian players facing one of the PDC's top players. Among others, world champion
Luke Humphries, defending champion
Michael Smith, three-time world champion
Michael van Gerwen and teenage sensation
Luke Littler have made the trip to the Middle East.
All participants are guaranteed £1250 in prize money. A win in the first match doubles the prize money to £2,500. A sum of 5,000 pounds awaits the semifinalists.
The big money is distributed in the finals. The losing finalist receives 10,000 pounds and the winner receives a check for 20,000 pounds. In addition to prize money, players can also earn points for the World Series Order of Merit. The top eight of these rankings guarantee participation in the World Series Finals later this year in Amsterdam.
