The PDC
Winter Series is taking place between November 10-14 with £375,000 in
prize money set to be won over the course of the five days in Coventry.
It consists of five Players Championship tournaments. £75,000 will available per tournament with the winner of each PDC Winter Series event as usual winning £10,000.
With a victory in the first round, £500 will be added to the respective Order of Merits. In the Last 32 (£1,000) and Last 16 (£1,500), it goes up by £500 each time. A Quarter-Final spot will yield £2,250 followed by £3,000 for reaching the semi-finals. The runner-up receives £6000.
In addition to this prize money being added to the PDC Order of Merit, a special PDC Winter Series Order of Merit will offer a place in the Grand Slam of Darts for the highest ranked player who hasn't qualified yet.
