Mensur Suljovic will not travel to Coventry for the Grand Slam of Darts Qualifier or Winter Series due to personal reasons, he has revealed.
Suljovic has been in great form as of late and was involved in the World Cup of Darts this past weekend but has decided to return at the Players Championship Finals at the end of the month instead of traveling to the UK.
"Due to personal reasons I’ve decided not to travel and play in the Grand Slam Qualifier and Winter Series this week. I’d like to thank PDC for all their help these last few months, and for the advice and support my Management Team have continually shown," he wrote on Facebook.
I enjoyed the World Cup and was pleased with how I played and I’ll be back for the Players Championship Finals at the end of November. Good luck to all the players in Coventry!"

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
