The Prize Money Breakdown has been released for the 2020 UK Open which begins on Friday at Butlins in Minehead.
The
prize money breakdown will stay the same for the
UK Open comprising of £450,000. The winner of the title will claim £100,000 with the runner-up getting just under half of that at £40,000. £20,000 will go to the semi-finalists and £12,500 to the Quarter-Finalists.
From there the Prize Fund Breakdown goes down in small implements to the third round with £1,000 for reaching that point. The players who start in the first and second round, need to win one or two matches to be eligible for some cash prizes.
