Prize money breakdown for the European Championship 2020 with £500,000 on offer

The 13th edition of the European Championship will be played from October 29 - November 1. The PDC has made £500,000 in prize money available for the European Championship in Oberhausen.

Almost a quarter of the prize money will go to the winner of this event with £120,000. The runner-up will receive £60,000, while the semi-finalists will go home with £32,000.

All 32 participants are guaranteed £6,000. This goes up to £10,000 for winning the first mtch. A quarter-final spot yields £20,000.

Last year, this tournament was won by Rob Cross after defeating Gerwyn Price in the final. Michael van Gerwen surprisingly lost to Ross Smith in the first round during last year's event.
