After the news that the Women's Series will now be on parallel with all secondary tours, that has soon changed with a boost for the
Challenge Tour and
Development Tour announced.
From 2023 onwards, there will be an increased prize fund with £15,000 prize fund up for grabs in each event. This includes £2,500 for the winner in each of the 24 tournaments.
As ever, the Challenge Tour offers non-Tour Card holders a route onto the tour if they compete at Q-School with Scott Williams a firm example this year winning a ProTour as an associate member. He will now move onto the tour.
Development Tour allows players not in the top 32 and non-Tour Card holders aged 16-23 the chance to play PDC tournaments and was won this year by Nathan Rafferty.
