The first group of action at European Q-School has concluded with 55 players confirmed so far for the Final Stage in Niedernhausen.
They include outright such players as five-time World Champion, Raymond van Barneveld. As well as Boris Koltsov, Nico Kurz and Richard Veenstra. All 12 players in this bracket secured their spots by winning through their respective day.
Order of Merit spots took up the remaining 43 spots with Geert de Vos leading the way on seven points. Also through include the likes of Michael Unterbuchner, Dennie Olde Kalter, Kenny Neyens, Mario Vandenbogaerde, Rene Eidams and Chris Landman.
There is one spot that could potentially be changed though with Gillian Koehoorn allegedly kicked out of the tournament on the opening day for leaving to visit a supermarket.
He has not played since but occupies the 38th spot. Daniel Meyer would be the one to benefit on leg difference ahead of Toon Greebe if he is not allowed to play the Final Stage.
All these players go alongside those already qualified for the Final Stage including Niels Zonneveld, Benito van de Pas, Martin Schindler and Jan Dekker and they will be joined by another 55 who will win their place from Thursday onwards in Group 1B.
The likes of Matt Campbell, Jeffrey de Graaf, Christian Kist, Leonard Gates, Ronny Huybrechts and Jerry and Jimmy Hendriks will aim to join the 1A winners in the Final Stage over the next three days.
