Raman stuns De Sousa, Heta turns on the heat in Gurney win at International Darts Open

Brian Raman and Damon Heta are through to the final day of action at the International Darts Open after seeing off Jose de Sousa and Daryl Gurney respectively in Riesa.

Raman survived a match dart from De Sousa in the deciding leg before producing a clinical bull, double eight finish to claim a 6-5 win as he turned on the style after averaging in the 80's during his opening match.

A successful European Tour debut continues for the Belgian at the expense of the Special One.

While Heta continued his brilliant form as of late onto the European Tour stage with a 6-2 victory over Gurney.

Heta produced an exceptional display with a 98.2 average and 55% on the doubles and with the victors set to face each other in the Quarter-Finals, it will now see the Australian face Raman on Sunday.
