Josh Rock has been imperious at times during this year's PDC
Development Tour and the rising Northern Irishman continues to show why he is seen as one of the hottest properties in darts at the moment.
This after sealing back-to-back titles in Hildesheim in a fourth title of the season for 'Rocky' who whitewashed Nathan Girvan with a 104.86 average in the final.
The Development Tour is the youth circuit of the PDC. This tour is open to players aged 16 to 23. Players who turn 24 during the season may continue to participate.
The circuit of the PDC Development Tour will consist of 24 tournaments in 2022. Last year there was a separate tour for British and European players due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this year both have been merged again.
At each Development Tour tournament there is a prize fund of £10,000 to be shared. A ranking is drawn up with the prize money. At the end of the season, the numbers one and two will receive an invitation to the World Darts Championship, plus a Tour Card for 2023 and 2024.
