After steadying the ship with a hold of throw in leg 7, 'the Polish Eagle' broke throw in leg 8 to regain his four leg lead at 6-2. Bunting had pulled another back at 6-3, but it proved nothing more than a final consolation as Ratajski reeled off the final two legs to secure himself a second European Tour success.
