From September 8 to 10, the German Darts Open is scheduled in Jena, Germany. During this Euro Tour tournament, £175,000 of prize money will be distributed.
All qualifying players are guaranteed £1250, while the top 16 on the placement list at the German Darts Open will receive £2,500 anyway. However, these 16 players must win their first game in the second round for the prize money to actually count toward the world rankings and other rankings.
Qualifiers who win their first game thus also go to at least £2,500 in prize money. The third round is good for £4,000, while quarter-finalists go home with £6,000 anyway. Semi-finalists will get at least £8500 before the rewards go into the five numbers for reaching the final.
The winner of the 11th Euro Tour tournament of the season will go home with £30,000. For the runner-up at the German Darts Open, a sum of £12,000 awaits.
