Krzysztof Ratajski was impressive in front of his home crowd at the Poland Darts Masters. 'The Polish Eagle' won 6-3 over Rob Cross in the opening round.
"It's incredible," said Ratajski. "It's something new for me and it's a big night for Poland. Of course I'm very happy with this win but it wasn't a perfect game. Rob didn't play his game but I won and I'm really glad."
Ratajski will take on Dimitri Van den Bergh in the quarterfinals. "I know it's a very big step now and it's a long way for me to go to win this tournament, so for tomorrow I will focus on my game and I'm almost sure my game will be better than today."

- It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media. I even turned to my husband and said "Could you imagine this happening if Russ Bray was the referee tonight? At least there would have been a crowd admonishment- Ladies and Gentleman please."
