Raymond Van Barneveld, Ross Smith and Martin Schindler all fire in ton-plus averages to make the last 16 of Players Championship 28

The final sixteen players left at Players Championship 28 in Barnsley are now known and there are plenty if intriguing ties to come.

Raymond van Barneveld has made it into the last 16, the legendary Dutchman has seen off one of his old rivals in Mervyn King (6-4), with a ton-plus average to boot. At the other end of his darting career is Josh Rock, the Northern Irishman is also into the last 16 however after coming through against Cameron Menzies (6-3).

Performance of the round was undoubtedly Martin Schindler, the German powered his way to victory over Jim Williams (6-1) courtesy of a 104.33 average. Yesterday's shock winner Radek Szaganski is also still going strong once again, into the last 16 with a 6-3 win over Chris Landman. Ross Smith also impressed, averaging over 103 in victory over Robert Owen (6-2).
