The first round of the Austrian Darts Open continues with Friday’s afternoon session now complete in Graz.

Madars Razma ended home hopes with Michael Rasztovits falling by the wayside in the opening round to a sensational display from the Latvian.

Razma produced a superb 108.65 average with 75% on the doubles breezing through 6-0 and Jose de Sousa will fear for his tournament survival if he produced a similar display tomorrow.

While after defeating him on the ProTour a few weeks ago, Cameron Menzies will get another crack at Michael van Gerwen.

In one of the hotly anticipated ties of the session, he saw off Steve Beaton 6-4 in a tie which saw his opponent come from 4-0 down before Menzies finally pulled away.

In a huge shock to end the session, Patrik Gosnak dumped out former finalist and multiple European Tour winner, Ian White.

He produced a stunning 6-4 win and looked as shocked hitting the winning double as he delighted the home faithful in Graz.
