Reece Colley has claimed a maiden PDC
Development Tour title in the opening tournament in Milton Keynes joining Jurjen van der Velde who won in Germany on the European Development Tour.
Colley conquered Dom 'Skyscraper' Taylor after seeing off Ted Evetts (4-0), Justin Hewitt (5-2), Cameron Anderson (5-2) and finally Taylor in the final.
This is the first tournament over the three days to begin the Development Tour in the UK and Europe.
This tour is open to players between the ages of 16 and 23, provided they are not in the top-32 of the regular world ranking on January 4, 2021.
The Development Tour ranking is based on the prize money won. At the end of the season, the winners of both rankings (European and British Development Tour) will receive an invitation to the upcoming Grand Slam of Darts, the World Darts Championship and a Tour Card for 2022 and 2023.
