While the 2020 PDC UK Q-School heads into the Last 32, the PDC European Q-School is into the Quarter-Finals with the winner getting the first Tour Card of the weekend.
Martijn Kleermaker will hope that is him with the Dutchman edging past Thibault Tricole in a 5-4 victory where he averaged 92 and he will next take on Tonny Veenhof who ended the run of Derk Telnekes.
Also through is Boris Krcmar, the Croatian Soft-Tip star who has previously competed in the PDC World Championship endured a scrappy game with Dragutin Horvat who produced a comeback but he produced an excellent 160 to win and next up is Karel Sedlacek.
Sedlacek himself ended a run for one of the other stars of the day in Jeffrey de Graaf who has seemingly used his year off the tour wisely and is a good position after day one.
Brian Raman though has quietly gone about his business and finds himself in the Quarter-Finals with long waits due to other games catching up and he will take on Franz Roetzsch.
