Results Players Championship 1, Last 64: Wright hits 107 average in whitewash win over Blades

Wright produced the performance of the round in giving Gary Blades a lesson in terms of the ProTour with a 107 average during a whitewash win.

Van Gerwen edged past Damon Heta in a 6-3 win while averaging 103 himself during his victory. Price will face Gary Anderson next after he defeated Adrian Gray in his second game of the day.

There was also impressive displays from the likes of Dirk van Duijvenbode who averaged 105 in dispatching Ted Evetts.

Also through include Adrian Lewis, Glen Durrant, Steve Beaton and Michael Smith among others as the action starts getting to the business end.
