The semi-final line-up is confirmed at the Robin Park Tennis Centre in Wigan with two players in particular staking their claim for a Blackpool place with this run.
Those are James Wilson who is further into the qualification spots as a result now; he edged out Luke Humphries who was unlucky to lose out to 'Jammy Dodger'.
He will face Krzysztof Ratajski who blitzed past Jamie Hughes in the performance of the round and it seems the Polish ace is the man to beat today.
In the other semi-final it sees Nathan Aspinall look for another title after a victory over Dimitri van den Bergh, who had a welcome ProTour run. He will face Ron Meulenkamp who makes his second semi-final in as many months as he also aims for the World Matchplay and he looks good based off today's run.
